Phasing on a larger scale project for East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital  Master Plan was extremely challenging due to tight site constraints and inadequate existing departments throughout the hospital.  The oldest portion of the hospital was the focus and necessary to rebuild in order to comply with OSHPD requirements.  An additional floor is proposed for this portion of the hospital and considerate thought was given to the sequencing of construction.  The hospital is to remain fully functional throughout construction.  Therefore, departmental flow and exiting are maintained throughout all phases.   The illustrations shown are an example of a few of our phasing diagrams for the first floor of the master plan.
