This school had serious acoustic problems with levels 12 to 15 decibels higher than national standards.  A variety of solutions were employed depending on the space and needs.  These approaches included use of glue-on acoustical tiles over gypsum board ceilings; blown on acoustical fiber over exposed steel, and enclosing the open school offices with a gasketed window system to eliminate noise infiltration into the library.
